I find mixing music an intuitive artform, where finding songs to compliment each other in shape, form, sound and feeling are imperative to the journeying of emotional energy within the overall tapestry of the meaning in the particular mix. I do not use key software to match songs, it is by instinct alone and that is why I am also proud of the outcomes generated.
